Dr. Francesca Torelli

Equality Councillor - Veneto Region

Francesca Torelli graduated in Business Administration in 1993 and obtained a PhD in European and Comparative Labor Law. Until 2009, she collaborated with the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Venice and, alongside his research activities, founded two consulting firms in the field of human resources and gender equality certification, thereby introducing principles of equal opportunity into the private sector. In 2018, she was appointed president of the joint ethical committee for research at the Sant'Anna School and the Normale Superiore School of Pisa, and in 2020 for the University of Bicocca. Since 2022, she has been appointed as the Equality Advisor for the Veneto Region by ministerial decree.
The Regional Equality Councilor is a figure established by law 125/1991 and incorporated into legislative decree 198/2006 "Code of Equal Opportunities between Men and Women," with the aim of performing functions of promotion and monitoring the implementation of the principles of equality, opportunity, and non-discrimination between women and men.

Silvia Brunello

Official of the Labor, Economic Policies, Human Capital Directorate and Community Programming Area - Veneto Region - has been working at the Office of the Equal Opportunities Advisor since 2019, coordinating the team in all operational activities. Graduated in Political Science with a particular interest in labor law and a focus on the Gender Pay Gap, in the Film&Parità project she is responsible for relations with the various institutional actors involved in the project and for external communication.

Laura Riga Degano

Professional collaborator at the Labor, Economic Policies, Human Capital Directorate, and Community Programming Area; has been working at the Office of the Equal Opportunities Advisor since 2022. Graduated in Literature, she delved into the topic of Film History and contributed to the overall definition of the Film & Equality project, the revision of promotional materials, and the organization of the final event.

Graduate student in Artistic Techniques of the Show at Ca'Foscari. She has a passion for gender studies, contemporary art, and culture. During her internship at the Veneto Region, she contributed to the "Film&Parità" project: she has planned the editorial calendar for the social media on the project, created engaging graphic content, and managed the organization of the screening days, always with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. With a practical and creative approach, she is determined to make a difference in every project she works on.

Chiara Cecutti

Giulia Kosmac

Master's degree candidate in human rights and multi-level governance. During her internship at the Veneto Region, she contributed to the "Film&Parità" project: she has planned the editorial calendar for the social media regarding the project, created engaging graphic content, and organized the screening days, providing important insights for refining the questionnaire through networking with the younger audience.

Laila Ouasfi

Student of Economics at Ca’ Foscari, she has a great passion for cinema and communication. During her internship at the Veneto Region, she put her interests to good use with the "Film&Parità" project, managing social media content, data analysis, overseeing film screenings, and conducting interviews with the audience. With her background as a young student raised in the social media world, she has managed to give a fresh and modern touch to the project.
